Smoke out of the tailpipe? are the injectors firing?

No smoke out the tailpipe at all. I'm not sure how to tell if the Injectors are firing

What should the HPOP be reading in Hz? The snap on scanner my brother is using doesn't read it in PSI, just want to make sure its making at least 500 while cranking.

Set the Snap-on to monitor ICP. IPR is the _regulator_; Hz is probably the frequency at which it's opening and closing to regulate the pressure. The pressure is measured at the ICP, which is the _sensor_.

Fuel pressure? Seems like with ether it should start if you have compression, so maybe that's not a big deal to check, but...
Something this weird must be electrical!
