Random Low Idle?

Random Low Idle?
I got a 1995 F.150 4x4 with a 302 and 197,000. It idles at 900-1000 normally. When I fire it up though sometimes it will randomly idle real low (500 rpm) and occasionally die. Also the problem will go away if I punch the gas pedal once or twice. I`m not very worried about this problem, but it is kinda annoying. So any ideas?

Just a sidenote...it sounds like the IAC valve may be gunked up with carbon and is causing the low idle/stall.
