Hi guys...so I'm looking at putting some 2013 rims on my 2007...can I replace the valve stem in the new wheels with a standard one as my tpms sensors are band mounted around the wheel?
The 2013 stems are still reasonably new. Once you fit the bands for your 2007 sensors on the new rims, and assuming the seller took the sensors off the stems for their new wheels; you'll be good to go. OR, if you feel you need new stems, a standard valve stem ought to work

So the seller did remove the sensors....but the valve stems are still useable? I haven't seen one of the new style stems yet and I guess I was assuming the stem came out with the sensor....no?

The valve stem portion of the TPMS acts as an antenna and is attached to the sensor with a set screw. It is not intended to be used as a traditional, standalone valve stem.

deputypq920 - Are the batteries in the TPMS replacable?
The battery is encased in epoxy, so No.
That being said, I've read of adventurous individuals carving-out and replacing the battery. IMO a waste of time and effort with no guarantee for success.
*The last set (4) of *new* Motorcraft TPMS that I purchased from ebaY® co$t me $40.

Thanks for the info, gDMJoe.
AutoZone on line wants about $40 each!
Also, thanks Ford for not indicating which one is out. I've got to find a shop with a scan tool, or have them all replaced. Nice design!
Also, I looked on fordparts.com and the part number is 1A189. They want $80 each! Ebay has some 1A189-AA and AE's for sale. Are these the same? My truck is a 2009 Screw.
