Hey everyone!
Hey everyone! Just joined this forum today. Looking forward to info on my Excursion. Going to get started right away: I have a 2000 Ford excursion, won't start. May be an issue with the keys. When the vehicle is sitting with no keys in it, there is a theft light blinking every 2 seconds on the dash. When I proceed to start the vehicle and turn the key forward, the light comes on and then shuts off with all the other warning lights. Any advice? I thought maybe the starter was bad so I went underneath and crossed the solenoid on the starter and its started up and runs. Still wont start normal. Please let me know if you have any ideas or input that might help me out. Thank you for your time!

Welcome Daniel, I had the same problem with my 2005 F350 and it turned out to be the anti theft feature. I can`t help beyond that so check with the folks in the Excursion forum: Excursion - King of SUVs - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
