E350 AC Problem - Dual system
I am new to the forum and hoping for some help. I searched and found several similar issues, but nothing exactly like I am experiencing. I have a 2005, E350 V10 with a dual AC system. It has 165,000 on it. When I get up past 50/55MPH, the blower fans (front and rear) shut off and it gets warm very fast. It will periodically come back on and run for a few minutes, but for the most part, it's off. I have made sure the freon level is good and have checked the vacuum line that is right behind the battery. At idle, the rear unit lines get nice and cold but the lines for the front unit really don't. The temp is reading 60deg coming out of the front AC vents. It seems like it might be a vcacuum issue, but I have no idea where to start looking or what to test.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as we're about to head out on an 8 week trip to the southwest and... well I don't need to say anymore. Thank you.
