Airbag problems

The lines from my airbags have been cut off. There is about 6" of line sticking out from the airbags. Can you install a line pushon coupler then run a line to the rear bumper or should I install a new fitting in the top of the airbags and run to the rear bumper. Would you have to remove the bags to put in a new fittings. Looks like it would be hard to get to the top of the airbags.

if the fitting on top of the bag is the push on quick disconnect type like my firestones you can replace plastic line only.

Push coupler is fine, just give it the soapy water test when you're done.

After taking a good look at my airbags I found that not only have they removed the air lines they also took the the brackets that bolt to the leaf springs off on both sides and just let the airbags just hang there on the top brackets. I also noticed that there is a helper leaf spring added to the stock leaf springs, probially causing the bolts and brackets to not fit the leaf springs. It looks like I will have to remove the helper leaf spring in order to attach the lower bracket to the leaf springs. Do you think I could install longer bolts with the brackets and keep the helper leaf spring or will I have to take out the helper springs? I don't think I need the helper leaf springs pulling a 5th wheel with this truck, I won't be haulling heavy loads. Who ever had this truck was doing some heavy haulling.

I need to correct my previous post. The lower brackets were not taken loose they come undone. Their are 8 carriage bolts that hold the the lower bracket to the springs. 7 of those have come loose and fallen off. I called FireStone and was not able to buy the brackets strap/shim from them, have to buy from a dealer. I called a dealer close to where I live and FireStone told him that is a problem they are having with the bolts coming loose. Has anyone had the problem of the bolts coming loose on their installation?
