I haven't been in a hurry to get the truck back on the road. Too many other projects going on but I did take time this weekend to work on the dash panel. Last year I had a stainless dash made and I liked it but it didn't have a tach. Not that I really cared but my son and one of my buddies kept giving me a hard time so I added one.
I am also in the process of installing an EZ-Wire harness and everything is in except for the dash panel so maybe I can kill two birds with one stone here.
So, here are few pictures of the new stainless steel dash panel:
All the holes drilled out -
Gauges and switches in. No radio yet. for the heater controls I am running a 3-way toggle for the fan and cables for the heat and defrost controls -
and here it is bolted into the dash panel itself. I still have to install the dash pad. -
