good deal? or should I wait

Well I went to go look at the new chevy 2500hd and they happened to have a very nice f350 gasser with the 5.4L. When I saw the tag on it, it really made me think. It was a 2004 f350 with 27,000 miles. I think it was used as a plow truck so it has some light surface rust under it. It doesnt have power windows or locks so its the basic work truck. ext cab and 6 ft bed. Price tag..... 15,500........

what do you guys think

what MPG should i get out of her

can you make these trucks faster cause it seems like a sloth out of the hole

whats the difference between the f250 and f350

The price seems high to me for a 9-year-old vehicle.

Maybe as high as 16 MPG on the highway and 12-14 overall.

Not without an engine swap.

I'm assuming that you're talking about the single-rear-wheel F350s. In that case the only differences are the door sticker, the size of the blocks between the rear axle and the springs, and an overload spring that was optional on the F250s. DRW trucks have numerous differences with heavier rear springs, axle, tires, and brakes.

I agree with Tom (crazy001) 15,500 is a bit high for a 04 with an extended cab that is an XL package. Keep looking you probably can find one cheaper. MPG aren't going to be the best being a full size truck and depends on your driving style and all. I don't know of any way to make it faster other then what Tom said I don't know why you would want a truck to be faster. And Tom said all the diffrences between the F250 and F350.
