Many years and a ton of hard work finally is paying off. Bigger shop, more mechanics, but bigger headaches. Oh and the pay is more, OK I can handle that.

 

Dealing with the mechanics is fun, try dealing with the general public. LOL

At least we won't move till I get back from Afghanistan. Now thats going to be a chore.

I only have to deal with soldiers, but they end up acting the same as the general public !!! Sometimes worse.

 

But you can pull rank on them.

 

I usually always win the rank game. Bigger shop, more mechanics and more vehicles to work on. Not the small shop I am use too with just the 8 of us. Going to be a whole new experience on top of having to deal with all the traffic. What in the world was I thinking?????

 

Good, when are you taking over? Maybe if I need someone other than myself to do some work on my vehicles I can bring it to you.

 

I take over on paper 1 October but I won't work there till we get back from deployment late next year. I'll have no problems helping you, I just have to get moved up here first. So lets say somewhere around mid 2014 I should be available...

Was a very busy weekend at home, The driveway washed out because of all the rain lately so I had to repair that. I have not been home in over 2 weeks so had to get caught up on mowing, weedeating, honey do's etc, etc. Big training event coming up soon, the fun never ends !!!!!

I took an army physical fitness test this morning, I did alot better than I thought I would. I needed one for my promotion packet and my annual officer eval. Running up and down the hills here in Winder really helped out on my run score. Glad to have that finally off my back for a while.

The grader and I were standing at the start line getting ready for me to take off when a truck, looked like around a 79 F100 comes hauling butt up the road past us. I looked at the grader and told him my blood type and no known alergies incase he turned around up the road and hit me on the way back thru...

Ran about 4 miles this morning, still not sure why but I am sore as all get out now. Gettting real close to the long holiday weekend and I can't wait!!!!! Hope everyone is well and drink lots of water, looks like the temps are climbing back up.

 

Looking forward to the long weekend as well, have some friends coming into town. Plans are for a little off-roading and fishing.
