For me with 2 dogs and not really anywhere to really do casting it is cheaper to buy what I shoot. The musket doesnt always go to the range with me anyway.
I dont reload the shotgun ammo. Easier to just buy that by the box. The only ones I make ammo for is the musket. I just have to buy the musket *****,blackpowder, and cartridge paper if I dont feel like cutting it myself. Then for the muskets I have to roll the paper into a tube with the musket ball preplaced, twist the end, measure my powder out ( i use 75 grains of double f black powder per cartridge), once the powder is added I fold the open end down and tuck it in to keep it closed. Then repeat until I have ammo made.
Should be a dipstick on the passenger side of the engine compartment near the fire wall. Might have something like use only mercon 3 fluid only printed on it. Then check it with the truck running and the tranny in park.
Thanks for the assistance, however, I still cannot locate the darn stick, I covered every inch, knowing it was there in the past - expect the shop may have left it out.
If they did you would have an empty tube that is in the engine compartment on the passenger side of the engine compartment. You might have to look a bit for it if it blends into everything else.
