I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their August.
I'm already done with this heat, but that's nothing new. We have to move...yes, again...at the end of this month because the owners of our current rental home decided they wanted to sell it. I'm reallllllyyyy getting sick of this crap.
However, we have the new rental home already setup and ready to go at the end of the month, so that is good. We are just dreading doing the packing and falling behind. Especially since we have to move in two weeks.
Anyway, enough of that whining. I hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend and it's going well for them!
Mat - Sorry to hear about the short moving arrangements. However, I'm glad that you've already found another rental to move into. I remember the last time...what a headache/stressful time for you guys. Glad things worked out better this time.
Well folks, today begins with a trip to the dog park for us. We are trying to do this a couple times a week to help Barkley run out some energy.
It will also help socialize him so he doesn't go ape **** when he meets new people and animals.
He seems to catch one to things fairly quickly, but his puppyness overrides that on occasion.

Donnna - Ya, we got lucky this time and found a place fairly quickly. So we are happy about that. But I don't think anyone likes packing up and moving. It's just a general pain in the butt. LOL We did more packing this weekend, but still have a ton to go. At least this time we are hiring movers for one day to take all of our big items/furniture. Then we rented a U-haul the next day to take the rest of the boxes and stuff. I figure it should work out better this time being split between 2 days and also having movers take the big stuff. We were just done with this crap and figured it was easier to have someone else move the stuff. LOL
I hope everyone is having a great Monday morning. We had thunderstorms here all evening and I think it is supposed to continue today as well.
Gem - We need to take Fiona to the dog park more often as well. Unfortunately life gets in the way and that gets pushed to the side, which it should not. We try and take her on walks, but we have to wait until the sun goes down, so the pavement/blacktop cools enough. We don't want it to burn her feet.
Donna - Yet another? People are going to be thinking you are running a wayward house for animals if you keep it up. LOL However, she looks like a doll. Congrats!
Mat: Barkley loves the park. It gives him more room to run and new friends. We go out around 8am so it's still cool. That gives him about an hour to just have a blast.
Donna: I am telling you, you should charge admission for the petting zoo.
OK everyone, I hope you can manage to have a great Monday.

Yep! Actually, we may be looking for homes for the 2 Miniature Husky brothers. They have alot of energy & not enough room to run here unfortunately. Our property isn't fenced yet & they need someplace with room to run. And the kids love them to pieces, but didn't realize that part of dog ownership is taking them for walks. Typical kids I guess. They always beg for an animal & promise to take care of it, but who ends up doing it all?..... the parents. LOL!

I know, huh?... 1 husband, 2 kids, 2 horses, 6 dogs (soon to be 4), 4 cats (soon to be 2-3) & 5 fish.
(like the way I included the my big kids?- I swear sometimes Jimmy's just a big kid himself) LOL!

Hoping to not jinx myself, but I have a job opportunity doing remote tech support. I have made it past the first 2 tech tests and have had a phone meeting. Not an official interview, but hope that call will come soon.
We could really use the money and it would work with my online classes and taking care of the minion and house.
Keep your fingers crossed for me.
Greg - My fingers and hopes are crossed for you, bro! Great luck on everything!!
I do love taking her to the park, but unfortunately the park by us isn't open early enough for us to take her and then go to work. So, we have to wait until night time. That's the only thing I hate about the summer. You either have to do things butt azz early or late at night once the sun goes down.
