We could meet at Ax's every other week -- I hear he has a pretty good shop!

Pointless?? Pointless......come to think of it, I've been pointless for years. I went with a HEI distributor years ago (see there....truck talk, we're on topic now)

Frankly, I just can't imagine a bunch of grown men going on and on about nothing in general. I mean if you stop and think about it, its a pretty juvenile thing to do. Oh sure, you might catch a bunch of young, first time on the internet teenagers spewing out random stuff just to prove to the world at large that they DO in fact have a voice and somebody might be listening. But a bunch of grown men? Nope, I can't see it.

I for one would not be caught dead partaking in such immature antics. I, like others, have much better things to occupy my time than to sit around blindly typing inane nonsense about nothing at all.

Sheesh

Bobby

I just hope we don't start talking about members who cross dress and go on using a different name. Now that could be a subject with a lot of substance to talk about!!

I'm at the Portland airport this morning. Looks like it might rain today. But at least I'm headed home.

I may go bowling this weekend. But I need to work on my truck. There, we're back on topic.

I'd LOVE to have everybody meet at my garage every other week or every week for that matter, I could certainly use the help! But I won't wear a dress and/or wig!
I just got back from the Doc, had both knees shot up with cortisone again. Sure makes 'em feel a lot better for a while. Makes it a lot easier to work on the truck. (back on topic once again.)

I think I'll wait until after post #50 before I make another comment on this thread.

Maybe not.

BTDT, if you have insurance, get an arthroscopic scrape done. Instant and complete relief from pain, no recurrence. Quick recovery too.

I've got severe osteoarthritis in both knees, 80% cartilage gone in one, 75% in the other. They want to do a replacement of both knees, but I'm trying to put it off as long as possible.

I have osteoarthritis in a few joints including the feet which I've had to have surgery on. This changed my build, instead of going with a standard transmission ended up going with a automatic transmission.

My knees are so much better tonight! Yesterday it was a struggle going up a couple steps, getting in and out of the Solstice. Tonite no problems with either. Pushing the clutch in never been an issue with the knees but I recently had severe gout in all the toes on both feet, lasted for almost 4 months before getting to see gout specialist at Duke. Dr gave me enough meds to knock it out, put me on colchris and Uloric so it doesn't come back. Said it was likely a side affect of the other meds I take for my heart that I produce too much uric acid. Wouldn't be very happy if I couldn't drive std anymore, both the panel and Solstice are stick.
