Howdy Neil! Just took a long lunch in town. It is so UNBELIEVEABLY beautiful outside, about 78 degrees, no humidity, and a slight breeze out of the south. Not a cloud in the sky. I hate being here on days like today, it's like I'm being robbed of half of my summer!
About damn time you showed up....lol. 77* and 55% humidity here but it is a slacking day here. Slept in til about 10:30 and finished breakfast about an hour ago. Been surfing on here and watching the race from Michigan.
Hopefully September. We've been dicking around, trying to get the guide plate for the rods on for 3 weeks. the lift rig used was screwed up when they were moving it, and it'a a pain to fix, since it's in the reactor cavity. But, they got the guide plate down early this morning, so, hopefully, we'll be putting the head on the reactor this week.
Pat in case you did not see these from last night, went with the fire department to work the demolition derby. The hardest hits were from the Truck/SUV heat. Even had one get flipped onto its side.
Well that is good news. I just got the request from my wife that she needs my help with something and she wants to do some sewing on the table where I am. So I guess that I am going to be getting off of here and ttyl.
Now THAT looks like fun! I've never seen them do it with trucks and Suvs! I did that, back in 1985, a buddie's dad owned a car lot, and he gave me this 63 chebby to drive, I didn't win, but I did last quite a while. Man, was that fun!
