Yeah, and the fact that Ford didn't paint anything behind those panels. But, this is probably one of the better midwest cabs that I've seen. Hoping to have the cab corners from Don up in Oregon in the next few weeks, so I can get on that also. I would really like to have this thing in epoxy, and on the frame by the end of Sept.
finally got my new windshield for the 84,[55 bucks],safelite wanted 165 to put one in,now to figure out how to take the trim off w/out messing it up,anybody got any pointers? might have to ask in the bullnose forum
Not sure how that trim is attached, so I won't be any help. I won't go to safelite any more. I got one of their windsheilds for the 97, and after they left the house, noticed the glass had a wave in it, right in my field of view. Called and told them, and they wouldn't replace it. Later on, I had a Carlite windsheild put in it by another company.
