Diesel friendly smog shop in the Valley?

Looks like it's going to be my first time to take my X in for a smog. Anyone know of any diesel friendly shops in the San Fernando Valley? I'm all stock with the exception of a 4 inch MBRP exhaust. I'm going to be putting my clogged converter (only reason why I didn't put it back on during the exhaust install) back on before going in. Should this be a problem? I've gotten mixed answers about cats and how everything before it should remain stock???

As long as the cat is there, no codes stored, and it doesn't smoke, I don't think you will have any problems at any of the smog shops. I have a turbo back system, with the cat welded in place, and I passed 2 years ago. I'm due for an inspection next month, so I hope I am correct about all the above. I don't expect any issues. I've noticed most of the test only shops have a green sign "We Smog Diesels". I think any of them are as good as another.

Eric's, on the southwest corner of Victory and Lindley, does mine.

Cool, I'll give them a whirl once I get my clogged cat back on. Thanks!
