Sorry. I did an update to the post and it did not update.
So, go to the home page, select 'online store' on left. Once on the store page, look at 'category' menu on right. You will find 'Y pipe'. Select and you should have 2 to choose from.
Call the number and speak with customer service (Mike). You may have to have the vin# to get it right. Also look underneath the vehicle to get an idea of which one will work.
If so you could have the old style y-pipe or the new style. It depends on your build date.
I think it also depends on whether or not the original owner noticed "flutter" and if their dealer put on the modified y-pipe in response to the complaint.
I seem to remember some folks here "back in the day" that were all over the whole "flutter" thing for a while.
So that's what that flutter is @3500-4300 rpm is?????? My build date is 12/99
Somewhere between 2000-3000 rpm. The crappy exhaust manifolds are the culprit.
With a build date of 12/99 it could be a tossup and as Art said some y-pipes were changed out due to customer complaints. You will have to get under the truck and see what you have to be sure.
