glass packs

i jsut was wondering about a good sounding glass pack i have a 400 wit a 500 lift edelbrock cam and performer itake and 600 cfm carb...i want a cam that will pop and crackle loud...thanks kevin

So, do you want a cam or a muffler? I am guessing the cam was a mistype. Personally I wouldn't go with a glasspack unless I was hurting for cash and my muffler had fallen off.

But , if you are going for loud crackle and pop then a glasspack will do that. Some exhaust leaks would also help it "crackle and pop". And straight pipe with large tips will also help achieve that effect. As far as brands, any muffler shop carries your basic glasspack, the design is generally always the same.
