I have a 2006 F350 with a 6.0 Diesel. I have done the head gaskets and replaced the egr, oil pump, etc.. I am having an issue similar to stiction described in other posts, before the truck is warm. However, recently the bucking and timid throttle response before increasing RPMS is getting increasingly worse. Do we think fuel pump, water, or clogged fuel filters? going to replace the FCIM at first chance, but we are on a trip and I want to patch the issue if I can.
I think you need to have some live data before you start
tossing parts at it. A set of gauges or a Scanguage II
and program in the Xguages would be my first step.
The Banks have been in since 105k. Other work at 100k. Had truck on computer less than a month ago and have no current or stored codes. Thinking fuel pump, but dont understand warm up change if evetything is electronic.
