I need some advice or to be pointed in the right direction. Ive got a 1995 f150 with the 5.0. I put 33" BFG km2's on and noticed that this truck has no low end power. I use it alot to move firewood around so I need it. The motor seems to run fine despite the check engine light a a small oil leak. Its an xlt and has auxilary leaf springs in the rear so I assumed it be able to handle bigger tires and a bed full of oak but guess not. Some advice would be awesome. Thanks

im sure others will agree, regear the truck, if its a 4x4 make sure the front and rear are matching, may want to go a bit smaller with your tires also...new cams (roller), ask Conanski (spelling???) he/she will be able to tell you exactly what type would be best, Im sure theres more but I don't recall things off the top of my head at this time, also keep in mind these trucks arn't ment to be "fast" they are built for power and hauling heavy loads...
as for your CEL my truck (same exact type, see my sig) mine is doing the same, I would suggest pulling codes to see what codes you have and then if needed post them here so we can further assist with the codes, I may do the same for mine but im pretty certain I know whats going on with it...
Your truck needs 4.10 gears it's as simple as that, the 5.0 will never make big low rpm power doesn't matter what you do to it. That said there are a few things you can do to the motor to complement the gears, add longtube headers and a 2.5" single or smaller dual exhaust, 1.7 rockers, an ignition upgrade with high output parts, and then advance the timing 2-4 degrees from stock(10 BTDC).
Thanks alot guys. I'll definitely look into new gears. Why a smaller exhaust tho? I already upgraded to a 3" straight pipe after the cat. I'm not into speed whatsoever...just hauling stuff and bouncing around locally.

Problem is that wasn't an upgrade. Relative to a larger pipe smaller exhaust tubing increases exhaust velocity which boosts low rpm torque, the trick is to make it capable of also flowing decent volume and you do that by using mendrel bends instead of compression or kink bends. The system also has to be sized appropriately for the motor so you don't use the same size tubing on a stock 5.0 that you would on a 460 for example, seems logical I know but it's amazing how many guys want diesel sized exhaust pipes on these little motors.
