Goodbye gentlemen

Well..... Im sad to say this but my truck is pulling out of the driveway with her new owner.
Im sad to say this but i had (or wanted?) to sell my 1971 F250 to get something 4x4. My truck has treated me great but to get a new truck this one had to go. Id like to thank all of you guys for the help (and knowlage) you all gave me.

I'll be lurking around in the bump form every now and then but it look lik im headin over to the '86-'96 form.

Once again thanks to everyone an i will see you guys around the form!

I would have kept the bump and thrown a modern 4x4 suspension under it and had the best of both worlds.

Now that yours is gone you may find yourself on this forum more often! You gotta come here to get your fix, can't just go out to the driveway anymore.

1967-1972 F100's are known as "bump sides"due to the raised body line that runs down the side of the truck.

1973-1979 are known as "dent sides" due to that same body line being recessed or dented (opposite of our trucks).

Get it?.

IMHO, there is no good time to sell one! Trucks aren't cool unless the tailgate handle swings......................

There are still bumps out there waiting to be adopted or that have been put out to pasture. Git you one and there is no need to lurk any longer. Jump back in. The water is still warm (which is kinda therapeutic for us old guys anyway).
