Most here are very quiet about their C&%$y engines in their trucks. My '52 came with a sb 350 already in it, although I had to rebuild it and re-install with real motor mounts, change all the sheet metal, intake and carb etc. since the PO did such a poor job. There are probably a few on here with an LS, but you might have to search to find them...

I used the instructions from LT1 Swap to modify the harness,
he reprogrammed the ECM.

I am doing the 700-r4 tranny instead of the electronic version.

haven't done much in the last couple years, working 60-70 hrs/week, almost had a promotion.. got laid off instead!.. (whole mgmt chain let go, company trying to save its way to prosperity!).

now starting to catch up on list of projects. this and the ford 4.6 32v in the 54 chassis.

But the 56 is running/driving, just decided on paint, still have interior to decide on, then run harness for fitment, build exhaust, and breakdown for paint.

Great color on the '56. Looking for help on the fuel lines and fittings for the 2003 Chevy LS Engine we are installing.

the easiest thing is to run new line to the intake and use the dorman fuel line connectors.

this search on oreilly has a pretty decent set.

I ran rubber to an inline low pressure filter to the pump to the high pressure filter to steel across the chassis (high pressure rubber hose is expensive!) to rubber at the cab front to the intake.
using dorman snap connectors.
I am using the ford mustang 1969 tank (as I had one) with a modified stock sender unit to provide a return line, as my engine is return type. (2001 tahoe)

ls1swap.com in the conversion topic has lots of great generic info.

because my 55 is so 'bright' in the sun,

we wanted something similar for the 56, but not 3 stage again.. so we are going with the late model corvette metallic red. add a little metalflake. so the red you see looks good, but the other looks incredible!..
