Question seat covers

Well in order to help preserve the leather interior in my upcoming Chateau I would like to start looking to seat covers.

Anyone out there bought some for their bucket and/or benches?

If so what brand, positives, negatives, etc.

Thanks!

p.s. Will be picking it up tomorrow and bringing it home! Wife is really sad to see her Expedition go. But she understands that if she likes camping and trailers then some give and take needs to occur.

I don't want to get really expensive, but am willing to check out any ideas given.

Look for the brand AutoWare---most recently found them on this site: AutoWare Custom Fit Sport Seat Covers & Waterproof Seat Covers From Everything SUV. Mine came from a local outlet by referral from a friend--he had a set for a Toyota 4Runner I was very impressed with the fit and quality.

I bought two sets of these for '99 E250's in black and they're just great. Since 2009 not a sign of wear, are water/liquid resistant and fit very very well. Originally purchased for just about $200 for the set prices don't seem to have risen all that much.

Depending on the color there is a bit of lead time since I believe they're made to order, not necessarily stock items.

Hope this helps---I'd highly recommend them.

Are those seat covers $219 each for or for a pair?

$219 for the pair in the case of bucket seats, typically referred to as "the row".

IF you don't use the buckets arm rests delete that option and get the covers without the opening for them--adds like $52? They're easily removed if not used and me being somewhat cheap at times couldn't see spending the extra money for something unused.

The AutoWare covers are great; washable, durable and well fitting.

Over the years I've seen a number of glowing reviews of Wet Okole seat covers.

Ford Club Wagon/Van Standard Color Seat Covers - Wet Okole Hawaii

Everyone I've spoken to about them can't recommend them enough, and they are waterproof to boot.
