Anyone have any advise on seat covers for a 01 F-250. I bought some at Pep Boys that said they fit all full size trucks on the package, but they don't even come close to fitting. I found a couple of custom places online but they are very expensive. What are you guys using, if anything. I plan on keeping my truck for many years and want to protect the seats best I can.
http://www.autoseats.com/ They have custom made covers. If this is the same place as I got mine, the price was $129. Yes it was expensive, but better than getting the universal fit ones that don't help.
We got our seat covers at Truck & Trailer USA. They're denim with a Ford Oval on the upper seat part. We've had the same covers since we got the truck in 1996. We just throw them in the wash about one a year and they still look great.
yo,
Guess I lucked out when my wife crocheted a set for the bronco....all wool and lasting well. If you can find someone to make a set then you can choose your fabric. Cost for an upholstery shop to make a set was over $350.00! so I know I am a lucky man.
A place in Canada called the "Westerner" makes a high quality seat cover for about $110 Canadian- which should be about $80 US.
Email address is Terry Murdock <thewesterner@nucleus.com>. They do not have a web site but they will mail a price list with sample material if you request it.
I agree with those who say don't go cheapo on the seat covers. Find something good and strong and something that is specifically made to fit YOUR seats.
If you do a web search you'll get a lot of hits on truck & SUV seat covers.
