Thoughts on adding heat sheild...
2010 6.4l Auto..
While I was adding an external transmission filter (dieselsite one) I noticed several of the transmission components had heat shielding.
This made me think I know the exhaust is really hot coming out of these babies and was thinking it might be a good idea to use some heat shielding from at least the turbo exhaust to the DPF to keep other items under there cooler and with the increased heat might help a little with performance/gas.
What are you thoughts on this?
