How often to flush coolant ?

Roughly 3 yrs. ago,I did about 4 or 5 distilled water only flushes and I got VERY LITTLE sand/crud out of the system but I had been running a coolant filter since the truck had 4,500 or 5,000 miles on it. I refilled with fresh Ford Gold. If you are staying with the Ford Gold I would follow 69cj's advise. If you do that every couple years you will always have "fresh" coolant and will not need to flush. As long as your deltas are good,I wouldn't worry about it. Like the old saying goes,don't fix it if it ain't broke!
