stud thread- need to replace a lost bolt
Should be stud thread - need to replace a lost nut...
I have a 460 in a 79 truck, not positive what the 460 came out of if it matters or not.
One of the nuts is missing on the exhaust flange where it connects to the exhaust.
I am attempting to find out what size nut it is so I can replace the missing one.
I have been searching on here and google and I guess I am not phrasing it right. I can find replacement stud/nut kits but they don't list the thread size/pitch.
Is it 9/16-20 for example?

Guess I'll stick a socket up there see what the size is and get a coarse thread nut and go with it.
