Plan a transmission swap

If I want to replace my E4OD with a manual transfer, what options do I have to replace it with? I'd lime other to bolt right up to my block unless there would be a compelling reason to do extra work and adapt a trans.

That's a not more involved than I thought, I'll have to wrap my head around all those details.

What's the intended use for the truck? A ZF5 swap is a lot more common and more documented. Sounds like the TKO is more sport (Lightning) oriented; if you're doing typical truck uses, go with the ZF5.
