Anyone know where the speedo cable goes on a '72 bronco w/ana 20 t case and np 435 transmission? Also, where do the wires attach that trigger the reverse lamps? Thanks in advance.

The speedometer cable still goes in the same spot on the transfer case. It is in the rear output shaft housing, near where the rear driveline attaches.
For the back up lights: There is a switch on the aluminum top cover of the transmission (usually with a red insulator). You may be able to find a connector from a pickup in a wrecking yard (or I can get you #'s for a updated switch and sealed connector). Be aware that some 435 top covers did not have a provision for the back up light switch. Mine is this way. I have a switch with a relay on the dash. You can also swap the cover for one that has backup switch as well. But, there are 4 different covers and corresponding shifters and you can't mix and match.
