Tranny Issues
New to this forum, usually on the 6.0 side..... Ok, lets get started. Bought my son a 99' F-350 4wd CC dually today. Truck has 153k on it. Drove it home, about 40 miles, pulled in to find it dripping trans fluid out the back of the tranny. Moved some things around to get it in the garage about 15 mins, started truck back up put it in gear only to get nothing, no move in any gear. Figure the tranny is toast???? Checked the fluid level, it was good. My question is, what kinda cost am I looking at? Should I rebuild that on or replace it??? Any advise would be appreciated.....
