I saw some rock sliders on a site called hefty fab works and although they're for a bronco I was wondering If they would bolt up to the f150 frame or if there's ones out there for our trucks. Also if there's any skid plates available? I heard it was an option from the factory at one point but would like to know if you can just get them from the aftermarket or something. Any help is appreciated thanks.
Note: Due to multiple variations in suspensions, slider legs must be welded on by customer
That is not a bolt on. What you might have spotted was the step that bolts onto the slider. You might weld those sliders on but they would be a bit short in length.
There are skid plates out there, just look for a Bronco in the wrecking yard.

Wow don't know how I missed that thanks. It must have been the step I noticed that bolts up. And im not too worried about the length as I have the regular cab and really just want a step that's not like those cheep westin ones that fold up if a shopping cart hits them. Something really strong and sturdy yet practical for every day use. And thanks for the info on the skids.
