New Motor IN!!!!!
So I bit the bullet and put the new motor in. Freeze plugs are leaking ever so slightly in places. However, No overheat yet!! Or fake overheat. The guy who bored the block 30 over said I wouldn't notice any difference in sound or performance. I beg to differ!! However maybe a fresh motor is just plain that awesome. It took three days to swap motors and I also swapped Tranny for one with 60k on it because I had it laying around. Not bad I think. I was going to borrow an engine puller but the timing with a buddy wasn't working out so went to harbor freight with my coupon book and bought one for 99 bucks. Pulled the front out of the way and slid old one out and new one in. Tranny went in from front while motor was out, with my brother and friends help lifting it up. Driven about 600 miles and I love this thing even more!! Also bought a 2000 4x4 v-10 with 95k on it to use while truck was down but didn't need to use it. Only paid 3500 for it so will keep for a long time. Thinking I will start on this other block and prep it for same. 30 over and what not. However will not use these heads again due to not PI. Can't even say how good this makes me feel.

I did not catch any earlier posts about you changing your engine, but this update on your situation gives me hope! Hope that one day, when my V10 is on its last legs, I can swap it out and bring life back to my Ex. Thank you, and congrats.
