Having some throttle issues. Seemed like fuel filter was slowly plugging, I was losing top end power and you could hear what I assume was injectors starving for fuel. Replaced filters (forgot to prime system first, eventually got the air out of the system after 60 miles or so) and now its going back to that problem. Occasionally it works fine, but most of the time I cant go above 1/2-3/4 throttle. Rpms go up but the power isnt there. My guess is the fuel pump is going bad, how do I check the pressure? Or am I thinking in the wrong direction here? Any input is appreciated.
Forgot to add the truck info, its an 03 6.0 with 190k miles. Fuel pump was replaced a year or two ago, new injectors at 165k, and never been chipped. Just has a K&N Filter and cat/muffler delete.

You may want to lose the K&n and go back to stock air cleaner , for the Turbos sake, have you pulled the EGR Valve and clean it up just don't get carb cleaner in the electrical side , also MAP connection to Intake the little hole in the Intake gets clogged, the Oil filters and cap should always be OEM as with the fuel filters, may need to drain the water sep that's on the HFCM lower filter on the rail.theres one more that will get sooted up and its behind the upper fuel bowl IAT2 senser I use a plumbers brush with all cleaning. and remember ware your safety glasses that stuff burns like
There are several things that can cause a lack of power. A few likely things are the hpop, fuel system, turbo, egr valve, injectors.
The first place to start would be pulling the codes. If there aren't any relevant codes, then I would check the fuel pressure. You will need an adaptor that fits the port in the side of the secondary fuel filter housing.
I hate to sound like a rookie but where might I find the EGR valve? I always stick with oem filters and caps, drained the water sep, havent had a chance to check codes yet though.
