Looking for some opinions on a SCT tuner for the dpf delete... pros/cons any1 that's used them??? Also if it matters if it's a used tuner?? thanks for any help!
I run one with custom tunes from innovative and gearhead, Truck runs great!!!!! I bought mine used, you can get tunes from multiple vendors but I highly recommend those 2!
thanks slowmans.. just out of curiousity...are you running those crazy big hp tunes?? I'm just looking to get any if at all better mpg.. more power..and reliability out of the truck...over the long haul nothing extreme.. my guy here locally was telling me about the sct tsx 8900???
I run a SCT Livewire, I am running Gearheads Hot Street tune currently, I think the truck is currnetly making a little over 500 hp, with a AFE cold air intake, MBRP Cold side Intercooler pipe, 4" straight piped exhaust from the down pipe back. The hot street is pretty mild mannered until you lay into it, I dont thrash my truck , I want it to last a while. I also like running Innovatives street tune with soft shift setting.
that sounds sweet... I just gotta be a little careful.. not to void my warranty...I have a dealership that's pretty lenient..but I don't wanna push my luck... so have you heard any good/bad about the tsx 8900??
