Bed Bushings???

What are you guy's/ Gal's using for bushings? The rubber pad or block wood?
This would be what is between the bed and frame. Where did you get them and who carries these?

2wd has the hump over the axle so blocks are shorter at that point
Little screws hold the blocks to crossmember
I glued the rubber at the supports

schoo's F250 is a Flareside. Ford used wood blocks, but I wouldn't recommend using wood, as it absorbs moisture that is transmitted to the bed and cross members.

Won't be long before these parts begin to rust. Not pleasant!

Ok so I used hockey pucks and just cut them to the desired height as required with a sawsall, worked really good IMHO.

Robert,

The bed had no rubber between it and the frame. Nor did the style side use wood blocks. The cross members are stamped and formed in a u shape with a mounting plate and oval steel gusset for the bolt to pass through

Flair sides had wood inserts.

Unis had a combination of wood and thin reinforced rubber.

Wrong bed had nothing. Same as a 64 66 styleside. Metal on Metal.

But the lines worked for crap so it did not really matter.
