new Excursion owner...........

Pueblo Gold..............2 wheel drive 5.4 (2 valve of course) 2005 with an April build date.

Georgia, Florida owned until it landed in Ohio...........106,000 miles

Fantastic condition. Cosmetics are great. Well maintained.

And it wanders in the steering......... I realized it on the test drive.

Please help with the solution. I welcome all direction into which threads, etc. I want to repair it correctly without overkill.

I am counting on the expertise here.

Thank you.

The "wandering" can be from a multiple issues. Steering boxes are notoriously poor, ball joints, factory wheels not wide enough, springs to soft, shocks, steering stabilizers, and some models without rear sway bar (yours might have one).

Goggle Excursion suspension and all your answers will come to light.

The good news is, the issues with wandering have been addressed by others via hit and miss projects, so you and I reap the benefits and cost savings.

I'm doing suspension mods right now.
