Can someone please tell me, where i can get a replacement clutch pedal lever from ? im talking about the short lever that connects to the master cylinder rod. Also does this rod come off, as mine is a little wore as well, or would i have to replace the whole cylinder ?
as for my progress, i have the new pedal assembly in and the steering column converted to manual
got my clutch pedal lever from ford stealer today.. yesterday auto enginuity arrived and today my order from riffraff..tomorrow i should receive my exhaust tip. now its time to do some more work :-)
I finally rebuild my turbo today with new bearings and all seals . Also removed the fuel pump today , so I can plug the hole and install new lines with a y- block . Plan on having the oil cooler fixed tomorrow and the turbo installed . Tranny goes in Saturday . Do you guys use a sealant on the freeze plug for the fuel pump hole ? Do you use red or blue Locktite on the clutch pressure plate and the flywheel bolts ? Thanks

It wouldn't hurt to put a tiny bit of sealant on the freeze plug I guess. I never have though. As long as the plug fits nice and tight it should be fine.
I use blue locktite on flywheel and pressure plate bolts.
I didn't use a freeze plug to block the fuel pump hole on mine. I got one of those rubber expandable plugs with the bolt through the center and washer on each end so it would be easy to get out when I upgrade the turbo.
If you're like me you go to electric fuel and put the freeze plug in, then before you even get it running again you decide to upgrade the turbo and have to take it back out..

That's exactly why I did the rubber one! LOL! I know me!
I originally used an aluminum shouldered plug with an o-ring seal to plug my fuel pump hole. Simply pushed the plug into place and done. My Dieselsite setup came with that plug.
Now for the turbo oil return I have a press fit aluminum piece of pipe, basically, pressed into the fuel pump hole. The inside of it is threaded 1/2" NPT IIRC. Threaded in my AN fittings to that.

This is epic. I laughed so hard at this. Ok, back on topic.
i do not believe i will update the turbo in the near future.. with all the repairs i am currently doing, i have stretched my budget very thin
however, today i managed to get the oil cooler out, cleaned, resealed and back into the truck, filled the new oil filter and installed it. Also plugged the fuel pump hole. Tomorrow i will make a run back to my fav junkyard, where i bought the whole setup ,and get the corner brackets for the cross member, that i forgot . im also still hunting for a shift lever and a shift **** with integrated switch for my exhaust brake. maybe i even come across a different set of rear end gears...
I did make some progress this weekend.
The oil cooler was a bit of a pain to get out, but i did not had the transmission in it, so it went ok. Replacing the seals was simple. I re-installed it and shifted attention to my transmission.., installed flywheel and clutch and then lifted transmission in place. I tell you, this is not easy, doing it yourself, but i got it done .
I replaced all u-joints on the drive shaft, got it under the truck and bolted front and rear up... but when i lifted the center i noticed something ain’t lining up.. the center bearing was way off in relationship to the bracket on the truck..
checked it and there it was in plain sight.. had the damn thing backward . well unbolted it, turned it around and re-installed it.. fits perfect.
next was the exhaust. after modifying some brackets, it went in place and it sure looks good.
also working on my fuel system. Not the prettiest, but it will work just fine.
primary filter and secondary filter with the bosch fuel pump.
The supply lines under the hood are next. had to order those expensive little seals for the fuel line fitting on the back of the engine from the stealership.. they want almost $5.- a piece for it...
