Ok here's the deal. I have a 91 Ex, and the headlights were full of condensation. I took them off, dried them real good with a cloth and a hair dryer. Looked great, but the driver's side is back just like it was. Anybody know what could be causing this? Anybody found a fix for this problem? I was thinking of drilling a hole in the bottom of the housing to let air in (and out), but won't that just let more moisture in? Any advice would be appreciated.
Please Help!!! 1993 Ford Explorer 2wd
Please help me post a question !!!!!
1. My turn signals flash on both sides in the back only when I turn my ignition
switch on but the turn signal switch is not on.
2. I am assuming it's my turn signal because I can remove the flasher can to stop
the flashing.
3. You see the hazard lights and brake lights come while the lights are flashing.
4. The flashing is a quick flicker as if a short or load is somewhere or trailer like.
5. I have replaced flasher cans, "Turn Signal Switch" and ignition switch.
6. I feel there is a relay: Please help me find it????
Please give me some suggestions as to what could cause my turn signals in the rear only to flash without the turn signal switch being on??????.
79Effie, the plastic lens is separating from the headlight housing. I had a Ford headlight to leak so badly, that after driving in rain, the headlight would fill halfway up with rainwater and blow the bulb.
You can fix it by running a bead of silicone sealer around where the lens joins the housing.
Joe, what about the hazard warning switch on the column? Have you checked it? Is it turned completely off? Try spraying some WD-40 in it, cycling it a few times, and see if that changes anything.
