Dont always need to go south, I live in Iowa, found a beautyfull short with dual tanks for my crewcab 4x4. Dont worry, aint gonna sell!!!!!!!!
Also just picked up a descent short with single tank near Nebraska for my reg cab 4x4. Now all I need is a reg cab, thats rust free and I will be a happy camper!
Indeed - parts for sale on these valuable trucks are needed and need to be posted in the classifieds so that needy indiviuals can buy them. Otherwise, they'll just sit in somebodies yard and rot...
That means HEY GUYS --- ~please~ use the classifieds...!...
buddy of mine bought a whole running 79 shortbox 150 in great cond. for $300 - moving all the metal over to his crew highboy. what a deal- try and look for the whole truck- amazing the deals out there sometimes.
hey torque1st, where is this place at i'm ear the quad cities right now. and i'd make the trip over thew river for a bed. ifd you could suppky me wit hthe location and some other stuff, email me

haha that makes me feel lucky... I bought my 77 F-100 SWB for 300... I just hate people that get lucky like me..... ;-). If I was going to spend over 1300 for any body part, I would buy fiberglass. Rust free forever, and if you buy a bed, take it to a local boat place and have them GelCoat the entire inside of the bed for about 300. It will outlast the life of your truck with just 1/8" thick. Much cheaper and beter then any other spray on liners.... Good luck with that bed.
