Been watching a lot of Gas Monkey Garage lately, and several times they have used a crossmember/front suspension setup from an 04 to 06 crown Vic cop car. They claim the parts are cheap and easy to obtain, and the swap is not difficult to do if you have fabrication experience. I've never messed with cars this new, so I wondered if anyone out there has done this swap, it it as easy and cheap as they say, (I know it never is, but just wondered).
I also wondered what sizes of engines the Crown Vic comes with, and is there an engine/ manual trans combo from a newer Mustang that would fit this crossmember setup? Any and all opinions appreciated. Thanks!
