For those of you wanting your truck to look brand new again, I have been trying out some different cleaning products for the truck. Today I used something called Fast Glass from Auto Glym. Really impressed with this product as the windows came out truly invisible and streak free. Link is below. Hope you don't have to cut and paste it.

Used a bunch of products but this seems the best so far in my humble opinion. I used it on my grill and bumpers and really did a great, fast job.


Also used the new Turtle wax synthetic as I saw a video of it comparing it to a bunch of high performance waxes. It applies the easiest in cool or even hot surfaces and wipes off easily with no dry hazing. It is suppose to last longer than many of the other waxes. I was using Macguire's Ultimate Wax, which is very expensive and a good wax and made the truck look very nice but takes some muscles to "get er done." The turtle synthetic wax was super easy to put on and I believe it cuts down on your application time and the truck sure looks shiny. My truck is 31 months old and yesterday some guy driving a 2012 black Mustang, which looked great, stopped by my parked truck and said "Nice truck." He couldn't believe I got it Dec. 2010 and said he used to have an F-150 but sold it to get the Mustang. He asked a bunch of question and he walked all around my truck and said "What do you use on it to get it to look like that?" I think he wanted to get some stuff for his black Mustang. When I get the engine shampooed and the new tires put on, the truck is going to look totally brand new again.

I've been using Auto Glym from years. Makes leather look new and is good at taking stains out of carpets. Good stuff.

 

Zaino also makes great products. Used them on my Corvette too with very good results.

The website seems to indicate that their products are only available in Canada, unless there is something that I am missing on the store locator (didn't see an option to purchase directly from their site).

 

Amazon.com sells most, if not all the Autoglym line if you live in the U.S. In Canada, the best selection is at Canadian Tire.
