I have a 88 7.3 fsuperduty 5 speed manual with 189000 miles
and it wont start.
The last thing I did to the truck was to clean the engine with some engine cleaner , then drove the truck home. Now it wont start
Schraeder valve has fuel coming out
Glow plugs seem to light up ok
Opened two injector lines and not much fuel comes out when cranking
Truck is on a slight incline and tapping on the rear tank sounds like a pretty full tank
Are there any electric circuits that may be bad that would cause the truck to not start
Squirting wd 40 or gumout or even ether and no joy on getting it started.
Whats really odd is that for a cpl of weeks prior to the engine clean up it was starting great in the exact spot it is now parked.
Check FSS operation. Fuel shutoff solenoid or something like that. There are 2 single wire connecters on your injection pump, pretty sure the front one is the FSS. With the key on you should hear it click when you unhook it and hook it back up.
It is a very small amount of fuel that comes out of the injector lines, are you getting anything? with them tight are you getting white smoke from the tailpipe while cranking?
what I am seeing is just a drop or too , could anything be blocked, The fuel filter is more than a yr old but less then 300 miles has been driven on the truck since the last oil change
Sounds like FSS is bad or injection pump. My friends 6.9 would idle for 20-30 secs then shut off, couldnt move it anywhere or it would stall. If you revved it,it would stall. FSS wire didnt work (batteries were pretty low) hooked 12v directly from battery. Still did same thing, changed top of injection pump and still did same thing. Replaced injection pump and it ran better than ever before.
is it possible that the IP just needs cleaned ? frankly if it is the IP that went out I will just part out the truck. I hate to do that if there is some more general things to look into

You can try filling the fuel filter with diesel kleen running for couple secs to fill IP and injectors with it then shut off overnight. You can get a used IP off ebay for 100-150 all day and a new one for 300-350. I bought a turbo IP and injectors off there for 135 shipped. And a new IP for 300. First time will probably take you a couple hours. I've done over a half dozen now and can easily do them in less than 30mins
sound like u may have air in the fuel system u said u parked on a inclined and know it wont start classicies sign of air geting in the fuel system all so u might want to check ur lift pump and test it and see if its good
