This is on a car engine came out of a old LTD police car don't know what year it is has to be before 88 it also has a serpentine belt system As you can tell its been setting outside this is what I plan on putting in a 55 Ford truck that I've started on along with the frontend The frontend is the main reason I started this thread to find out what year it is so I know what I have to work with unfortunatly I'm the one that took the body off of the frame and hauled it all the way from AL all the way to TX and gave the title to the junkyard to scrap the body in AL. now after years of sitting and finally getting to the 55 Ford truck I'm about to pull the cab off the frame and start my measuring for the frontend graphing.

I believe Ford only used that CFI(central fuel injection) on 302 crown vics between 1983 and 1985 and the 351 motors all got a carb of one type or another. Are you absolutely sure you have a 351? Unlike with the small block chevs these two Ford motors do not use the same block the 351 is physically larger with a much wider spread between cylinder heads. If the intake on the motor you have is only 8-9" wide that's a 302, the 351 intake is 11" wide.
