I read that some people were getting a 2-3mpg boost. MPG's arent my biggest concern. After all, I did buy a V10 
. I heard Mike's Towing and Performance tunes will really wake up a V10. What do y'all think?

I am looking at the livewire sct from 5 star as well. I saw on there website that it comes with several tunes from them and SCT. I say go for it and let us know. There have been several threads regarding 5 star and sct tuners with great results as well.

My SCT tuner with 5 Star Tunes is my favorite mod by far. I've been running the 87 octane tow/perf tune for a year or so. Any fuel mileage increase was quickly erased by the seat of the pants feel I get when I mash the peddle. Definitely recommend 5 Star. #1 customer service.

I posted earlier as well. I am looking at this tuner for a couple of reasons.
-Backup camera, I could use this with my 2008 tailgate, when i purchase a new handle.
-6 5 star tunes
-Also be able to monitor engine vitals. Who doesn't like gauges and gadgets to mess with?

Pay the extra and get the custom tunes. It's well worth it. As for gaining mpg's, probably not going to happen since the first time you mash it after installing a performance tune, you're hooked. I voted yes just because I would like the option to have the gauges.

I have Mike's 5 Star with 87 tow/perf, 89 tow/perf and 93 performance. I've mostly been running the 89 tow/perf and it rocks. Like was said, mileage hasn't changed much due to the urge to WOT but I did get a bump using non-ethanol gasoline of almost 1 mpg.

I had one installed for about a week (currently for sale) and noticed about 1-1.5mpg better when keeping your foot out of it with the canned tunes. I purchased it for towing performance and monitoring. I was not happy with the monitoring of the SCT(5.4L) and purchased an Edge CTS. The SCT did not have the trans temp option for the 5.4L. If you plan on doing mods or want custom tunes go with the SCT, otherwise look at the Edge(no custom tunes).
