Thanks for the info. I put over 230 miles a day on my 4.2 plus weekends and evenings. It is a 4 wheel drive and I love it. I would like to see about getting the mileage close to 20 on the highway. Put a K&N air filter on and it made no difference. If anybody has any proven ideas let me know.
FWIW: Most chips require you to run high octane gas, which negates any savings you get from increased fuel mileage.
If you are going to drive it another 100K miles, syn. fluids all around will increase your mileage. Though as posted, the most cost effective way to increase mileage is properly inflated tires, have your vehicle in tune, and drive moderately.
