Beef Up Front End
My name is Frank. I am new here to the forums. I just picked up a 2000 F250 and I am looking to beef up the front end a bit. The truck does have an 8 inch lift on it which I believe is a fabtech lift. One of the leaf springs broke and I am going to order two brand new ones for the front of the vehicle and I am also going to be ordering a new set of ubolts. My question is this. The guy that is going to be helping me out told me that I should purchase some beefed up parts to throw on while we were down there. He started naming off all these parts and I got kind of lost. I asked him if there was a kit that I could purchase and he said that there was. I was wondering if you guys could make any recommendations to me before I go and make my purchases. He said that there are aftermarket kits available that replace some of the front end components and they are about twice as strong as the stock parts. Is this guys off his rocker or should I go ahead and beef it up a bit?
I more curious to know exactly what he is talking about.
