Ok, I've got a friend who just bought a new Porsche. He already knows lots of cool places to get Porsche upgrade parts at very reasonable, if not downright cheap, prices.
Let's toss out some good sites for me so I can show off to him, PLEASE. He's making my brand new Screw look bad!
Yea but can he pull a boat, cary his toys with him to the beech, can he put a plastic cover in the trunk and fill it with water, insta-pool. Can he park in the middle of nothing and have a place to put a sleeping bag, or a seat to sit on to shoot the moon? Now i ask what is the better choice?
i8 personally like both but if ever given a choice i would definatly choose Ford over Porche just because its more practical just think what his insurance is for that car:-staun :-staun :-staun
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-Sep-02 AT 12:50 PM (EST)]You can laugh at him, because he bought a car that is slower, handles softer, and costs more than a Corvette. If he wants to be fast, then he failed, and deserves shame and laughter. Want speed? You're not going to find anything as serious as a Corvette at the Porsche dealership, and all their cars do is cost more. 30 MPG? Do you think that Porsche can do that? Anybody who buys a car like that has just shown the world that "I have more money than I have sense".
Don't even get me started on Cadillac Escalades. No Taste, No Class, you would have to be a rap star to drive one, and then you have your own set of problems to deal with. Anybody with a brain that they still listen to would just get a Tahoe.

I'm sorry TQ but did you just say a vette is faster than a porsche?
um... 1998 C4S makes me druel.
hehe, well i was never too keen on vettes. But i'll take a nice boss 429 over any other car on this planet...
its true, you just can't beat american muscle. The american cars are pretty fast too
Getting 450hp out of a 3.6L engine just aint right. Imagine that same 450hp out of a nice chunky v-8! Then imagine the torque that comes with it! :-staun
That Mercury Marauder looks pretty cool to me. For a late model that is. And a car...
BROKEBRONCO
84 Bronco 351HO/C-6/208/10.25 Rear/D44TTB Soon to have D60 Front/NP435 Wait, it does have the NP435 now!
86 F250 351HO/C6/10.25 Soon to have a front axle and the ZF tranny
The Ultimate car for me is the GT-40. I know there is absolutely no chance in hell I could ever get an original. There are some kit-cars out there that use either a 289 or 302 in a tube frame. They make close to 500hp in a 2390lb frame. They can be had for I think $35,000 in kit form and 50,000 completely built.
