98 expedition power mirror
Don't think so...my wife cleaned out the drivers side on the garage one day. I went to the dealer and they wanted something like $325 for a new one. I found one at NAPA for less than half that. Only difference was it didn't have the directional light inside it. Have noticed the chrome is pretty cheezy and after one winter is starting to fade. I replaced the mirror myself and there does not appear to be anything replaceable inside but I could be wrong. I didn't save the old one...too bad - maybe you could have salvaged what you need from it?

98 expedition power mirror
I have a good housing with the motors etc intact minus the glass and minus the front cover,( which is body color on the EB,chrome on the XLT), from my 98. It is the right side ,passenger side, off an EB the connectors are all intact.Somebody stole the mirror out of it along with the little pieces the mirror mounts to so I had to buy a complete housing. (Since then I found out Muth makes these mirrors and there are two types of the little plastic mount,if you twist their arm they'll sell these pieces separately). If you can use my housing it's yours for $50 + shipping and insurance.I also have a brand new replacement mirror with the newer style built in turn LED signal in the box with instruction sheet for the drivers side. Same price as the housing.
