2000 F150 question

I just bought a 2000 F150 XLT super cab with the 4.2L 6 cylinder, and it is a 5-speed. I was reading through some of the past posts and was wondering if there are any probs anyone has come across with this type of F150. To me it runs great, but I am a first time truck owner. Any tips or advise would be great. Thanks

Question 2000 F150 question

Sounds to me like your looking for a problem? If it runs great why ask if there are any problems? Why dont you wit until you do have a problem...

2000 F150 question

Manstruck,
I think he was just asking wether there were any problems that 2000's were prone too.

DanE-6,
I have a 2000 and I have had no problems with it. As for advice....just take care of her and she will take care of you.

2000 F150 question

You are right, I just want to have a heads up if there was something I should watch out for, there were posts about some F150's with the 4.2L and wanted to be sure that my model was not one of them. Thanks

Check the 4.2L forum and see what they have to say.
