Exhaust question
I have searched and I'm sure this question has been asked before, but what is the stock exhaust size on the 7.3 trucks? Also if I replace the cat and muffler with just a piece of pipe will it throw any codes? Sorry about the newbie questions but Ford diesels are a whole new world for me.

3.5 " and no to the codes, if you have an exhasut gage you could, should see about 50* cooler.
Never sure of this, but SOP feels better. Milage may increase, or decrease because of SOP.
