I think this is from using a cargo carrier in the front receiver hitch on a ranch hand. I have already welded bracing on the flanges,,, thx Josh!! . But I shot a vid of the before.
Nothing like running over your own bumper I would investigate the Ranch Hand surface contact area, seems like the bolts were doing all the work. Can you post up a pic of the contact area of the bumper, you may need to add a side plate on the bumper or something to bolt an extension onto the side of the frame rail to increase the distribution.
Thought I would just mention something, your engine fell out in case you had not noticed
You may want to consider just replaceing that bracket and start over. With all the welding you need to do stress relieveing may be a probem and temper control.
Wow,,, all that for 1 word. I ain't no teacher,,, lol. I guess the cargo carrier I built out of 2", 1/4" thick steel square tubing, with a generator, compressor n welder was a bit much for the "flanges". Lol. I had it all in the front receiver of the ranch hand.
